A Performance project will allow you to license your performance of a song at a live ticketed event. A Performance Project is meant to be used for one-off uses. It is not intended for repeat performances as those should be licensed directly through https://christiancopyrightsolutions.com/ (Non-Commercial uses). Commercial performance licenses can be licensed directly from www.Ascap.com, www.bmi.com, www.sesac.com and/or www.gmr.com
A church that performs a song during a live worship service (not recorded or re-distributed digitally) is exempt from needing a performance license. Additionally, there is no need for an Artist Recording license unless the performance is being recorded, re-distributed, or archived).
Possible Configurations
The use of a song performed at an Amateur Live event (not a religious service) where the ticket price is $10.00 or less. An Amateur is a person that engages in a performance on a part-time or unpaid basis. The Fee is calculated on the term. A year is the minimum term, the fee multiplies per year after that. We reserve the right to negotiate a different fee based on your request.
Use of a song performed at a Professional Live event (not a religious service) where the ticket price is $10.00 or more. A Professional is a person that engages in a performance on a full-time or paid basis. The Fee is calculated on the term. A year is the minimum term, the fee multiplies per year after that.
