If you upload to YouTube you may not need a license from us since this falls under the “general user agreement” that we already have in place with YouTube. Items that fall outside this general user agreement are related to uses in commercials, advertisements, or political campaigns. In those cases you would need a license before you post your video. You can get a license here on our site.
Our response is based on our controlled share(s) of the song. If we do not control 100% it is your responsibility to continue to request permission from the other rights owners, as they are entitled to license their shares and may have a different policy on YouTube licenses.
